Last minute, measured only the stays we watched get cheaper

Most last-minute prices do not fall — hotels hold rates, and the last rooms are often the dearest. So we do not list what is merely soon. A stay appears here only when we measured its own price drop as the date approached: what it cost when the date was still weeks out, next to what it costs now.

The crossed-out figure is the cheapest price we ourselves recorded for the same room, at the same stay, while the arrival date was still three weeks or more away — not a number the hotel advertised. We compare a room only with itself: when the cheapest available room changes, that is not a price cut. A drop counts only if it holds across several days, and anything deeper than 60% is discarded as implausible. Prices are re-checked live the moment you open the hotel.
