When you book
To make a booking we store your name, email, the property, the dates, the room and the price. That is what we need to help you if something goes wrong, and what accounting law requires us to keep.
We neverstore card numbers, dates of birth or identity documents. Payment is entered in Nuitee Connect’s form and goes straight to their payment processor — it does not pass through our servers at any point.
We keep booking records for as long as they are legally relevant for accounting, then delete them. Write to hello@pricechrono.com to ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed once the stay is closed.
Searching
We do not require an account and we do not set advertising or analytics cookies. A search is sent to our server, used to fetch prices, and not stored against you. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary short-lived server logs (IP address, URL, time) for security and debugging, as any web server does.
Price watches
When you ask us to watch a price, we store:
- your email address;
- the hotel, the dates and the party size you chose;
- the price at the moment you signed up, so we can tell you what changed;
- a random token, used only for the confirmation and unsubscribe links.
Legal basis: your consent. Nothing happens until you click the link in the confirmation email. If you never click it, the watch is deleted and your address with it.
How long we keep it
- Unconfirmed watch: deleted after 7 days.
- Confirmed watch: deleted once the arrival date has passed — the reason for holding your address is gone.
- Any time:the “Stop watching” link in every email deletes the watch in one click, with no questions and no confirmation step.
Who else sees it
We use three processors, and only for what they are named for:
- Supabase — the database, hosted in Frankfurt (EU).
- Resend — sends the emails.
- Vercel — runs the website.
We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing. A watch email is sent only when the price actually drops.
Hotel prices
We also record hotel prices over time. That data is about hotels, not about people — it contains no information about who searched for what.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. For a price watch, the unsubscribe link does the deletion immediately. For anything else, write to hello@pricechrono.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
