  Great service from the Hampton in team! Booking.com left me hanging.....I need a refund!

  + The staff and manager were super! The room was great. Breakfast was fine and the other guests were really nice as well!

  − But..... The visit started off horribly. When I got there the hotel did not have my reservation. In my opinion this was a Booking.com screwup. I originally had a reservation for 1 October, but then moved it to 8 October. In fact the hotel told me that their record showed I was a "no-show". I went to Booking.com to do that change well before the 1st of October and got a "confirmation" from Booking.com fo rthe new date, but the confirmation also said the hotel had not confirmed the change. When I followed up on that Booking.com told me to contact the hotel directly to do this. I contacted the Hampton and they told me they could not do that and that Booking.com needed to manage the requiested cheange. In a couple days I got a further conformation from Booking.com that all was OK for the 8th. So when I couldn't get in on th emorning of the 8th I called Booking.com and pretty much sat on the phone for about 30 minutes and finally was able to get a room at the Hampton and went ahead and paid my way -- again. Therefore I would like to have a refund of my ~$250 that I paid when I reserved the room. Can I count on you for that credit to my cc?

  I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Very

  + The room was excellent, but the reading chair and the desk chair are so old and worn out. They’re very uncomfortable. Other than that, the room was fantastic.

  A great and fun stay within a convenient location.

  + The breakfast at the hotel was very good and a great way to start the day. The food was fresh, warm, and flavorful, with a nice variety of options to choose from. Everything was well prepared, and the dining area was clean and comfortable. The staff also did a great job keeping everything stocked and making sure guests had what they needed. Overall, the breakfast added to the experience and made the stay even more enjoyable.
