  Family of 4 - looking for a budget but authentic Kyoto experience

  + We went budget and was happy with what we got. It was a nice little place nestled in the streets of Kyoto. Very local. Homes and small shops around it. 15 minute walk to the main Kyoto town/pontocho area. Staff very helpful.

  Great location, helpful staff and spacious accommodation.

  + Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and it was great that there was a separator between the bedroom and bathroom areas. Drinking water and ice were available along with comic books. The location was super! Made our stay in Kyoto special as we were in Gion and near the canal.
