+ Out of all my accommodations, be it hotels, aparthotels and BnBs and in different parts of the world, from Asia, North America, Africa and to Europe, this is hands down the best accommodation I have stayed at! It had everything I needed, it's spacious and clean. I always looked forward to getting back. You can also start your Pentland hike, and see cute little animals along the way. It's well connected by public transport as well. The only thing I'd say is that while coming back from the city centre, there will be a bit of steep climb which was not a problem for me and my father but I can imagine how that can put off some people. In any case, you can easily hail an uber or Bolt. It's also very close from the Edinburgh airport. During our stay, a few deer walked into the back garden which was such a delight to watch while doing the dishes in the kitchen! Absolutely recommended.

Amazing, home away from home
+ The hosts were amazing, they provided everything we could need, as well as stuff for breakfast. The accommodation had plenty of books and games and it was a gorgeous
− Not that we didn’t like it but be aware when you’re booking that it’s a bit out of the way, you need to have a car. But there’s plenty of buses near by to take you into the centre so you can park and ride very easily
