  Stupenda vista sulla città

  + Posizione strategica, a due passi da chinatown, vicino alle strade principali e al CableCar. Vista sulla città magnifica, pulizia eccellente e camere spaziose e belle. Personale molto gentile, si possono lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in e dopo il check out senza problemi. Uber Lyft/taxi raggiungono facilmente la struttura. Davvero un bel hotel a 4 Stelle. Colazione molto buona!

  Nice location, classic interior, disliked the breakfast even if paying extra.

  + Nice location, close to cable cars, bus tours for day excursions, Union sq. The interior is classic antic style.

  − The breakfast that is included is American style, and if you pay 25 usd you will have a more continental breakfast which again is not at the level of the hotel and incomparable if making a parallel to European standards. My room was not like the one on the Booking photos, I was looking into a wall, very claustrophobic. The staff did not make much efforts to change it, commenting they are all booked or eventually could give me a room on the 1st floor on the noisy side of the street which was not a good option either.

  Stressful and disappointing!

  + The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the beautiful views. The location was also great and very convenient for exploring San Francisco. Those were definitely the highlights of our stay.

  − Our stay at the Stanford Hotel was unnecessarily stressful. We reserved three rooms and arrived around 1:00 p.m., understanding they might not be ready, but after waiting several hours, we learned the third room had been ready and staff had simply failed to notify us. The valet process was poorly explained, and an employee spoke to us rudely about leaving our keys. The next morning, we were told retrieving our car could take at least 20 minutes, despite being told we would have access whenever needed. A manager promised a $75 parking credit, but it was not documented. After checkout, a $200 deposit per room, per night had not been returned, and we were charged an additional unexplained $200. Given the delayed rooms, poor communication, rude valet interaction, retrieval delay, missing credit, and billing issues, we expected far better service for the price and would not stay here again
