  A pleasant stay

  + ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Wish More Hotel Istanbul and was very happy with both the room and the excellent service. A special thank you to my friend Egir at the front desk, who welcomed me warmly and made my check-in quick and smooth. Ayse and her colleague, Bell Boy Batohan, were also extremely helpful, especially when I needed assistance charging my phone. Their kindness and willingness to help really made a difference. Everyone was friendly, professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I truly appreciate the excellent hospitality and would definitely recommend Wish More Hotel Istanbul to others. ❤️🇹🇷

  Good Hotel, But Disappointing Payment Experience

  + The hotel was clean and the internet connection was good. There is also a mall close to the hotel, which was very convenient. I tried the hotel restaurant and was happy with the food and service. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and I enjoyed it. I took a taxi from IST airport and the cost was around 60 dollar. For one night was good.

  − The main thing I did not like was the experience with paying in US dollars. The staff checked every banknote very carefully. Even a small mark, line, or fold on a note was sometimes a reason for them to say that the bank would not accept it. I understand that they may want to make sure the money is genuine, but the process was unnecessarily complicated and took a lot of my time. Interestingly, when I gave them a $100 bill, they accepted it without a problem. After that, they also accepted smaller notes such as $20 and $5 bills when they were given as change. If the hotel only accepts certain types or denominations of US dollars, I think they should clearly explain this from the beginning. For a five-star hotel, I would also expect them to have the proper equipment to check whether a banknote is genuine. The issue was not simply that they did not accept some of my banknotes. It was the way the situation was handled and the amount of time spent checking each note. This was the most disappointing part of my stay. Apart from this, I had to send messages and remind them to send the invoice while in check out the reception told me I receive it in few minutes.
