( El Faro kids friendly, El Beso Adults only) * Very kid-friendly, with a water park, lazy river, and drinks easily accessible throughout. * Lighthouse Tower offers amazing views of the entire resort. * Decent-sized rooms with large balconies. * Excellent customer service from Aneuris at the Mercaro buffet. * Trolley service makes getting around the property easy. * Multiple dining options, including an ice cream parlor, sports bar, café, and several restaurants. * Lots of sand beds available by the beach * 1 main buffet, great variety of food, meats and desserts daily (food is also good) * Entertainment is good but could be better, hosts could be more interactive and funny

There’s constant pressure to join even after you say no. * Privilege membership upgrade scam:You pay extra for an upgrade but receive essentially the same services as everyone else. * Poor housekeeping and bathroom cleanliness: Showerheads and toilets need deep cleaning due to heavy staining and what appears to be mold. Housekeeping is very basic, often limited to changing towels, replacing toiletries, and mopping floors. * Black sand beach: Lots of seaweed makes the beach unsuitable for swimming, and flying insects that resemble bees are especially noticeable after rain. * Public bathroom cleanliness: Some public restrooms could be much cleaner. * Watered-down drinks: Drinks often taste diluted, especially nonalcoholic beverages. * No designated smoking areas: Smoke is noticeable throughout the property, which is especially unpleasant for pregnant guests and people with asthma like myself. * Unsanitary table settings: Utensils are sometimes placed directly on the table without a placemat or proper linen.   + Me encantó el hotel y el servicio de sus empleados fue la mejor parte. Es la primera vez que vengo al hotel y realmente ha sido muy grata la experiencia. Las atenciones de Carlos Enrique nuestro Concierge fueron 1A, siempre atento y dispuesto para que nuestra estadía fuese la mejor. Los meseros Omar en el restaurante Margarita y Miguel en Dolce Vita, fueron súper amables y serviciales. Así mismo Grasiela la host del Lounge Familiar siempre amable, cálida y con una sonrisa nos hizo sentir como en casa. Definitivamente volveríamos nuevamente con toda la familia

  + Tivemos vários pontos positivos durante nossa estadia. Como o resort fica mais afastado do aeroporto, recomendamos contratar um transfer, que para nós acabou sendo uma opção muito mais econômica do que táxi ou Uber. Um dos grandes destaques foi o atendimento do Carlos, que foi extremamente prestativo desde a nossa chegada. Ele nos orientou sobre as atividades do resort e também nos acompanhou até o quarto, sempre muito atencioso e disposto a ajudar. O quarto também foi um ponto muito positivo. Era enorme, muito espaçoso, com uma cama super confortável, banheiro excelente e uma banheira que foi um diferencial que adoramos. Ficamos em um quarto de frente para a piscina e, apesar disso, praticamente não ouvimos barulho externo, pois o isolamento acústico dos vidros é muito bom. A comida, de modo geral, era muito gostosa e não temos do que reclamar. A recreação da piscina principal também foi muito divertida, com bastante atividades ao longo do dia. A festa da espuma foi, sem dúvida, um dos momentos que mais aproveitamos durante a estadia. Entre os restaurantes, o Rota 66 foi um dos nossos favoritos e certamente recomendamos. No geral, o resort possui uma estrutura muito boa para quem quer descansar, aproveitar as piscinas, participar das atividades e passar o dia sem precisar sair para procurar entretenimento fora.

  − Apesar dos pontos positivos, tivemos algumas situações que poderiam ser melhoradas. O primeiro ponto foi o check-in. Ficamos com receio de fazer o procedimento online e optamos por realizá-lo na chegada, mas acabamos esperando cerca de uma hora na fila. O fato de podermos consumir as bebidas do resort enquanto aguardávamos ajudou a tornar a espera um pouco mais agradável, mas ainda assim consideramos um tempo muito longo para o check-in. Também ficamos um pouco frustrados com a questão da lua de mel. Informamos na reserva que estávamos viajando em lua de mel e esperávamos algum detalhe especial no quarto. Durante a estadia, percebemos que outros casais em lua de mel tinham uma faixa na porta e decoração no quarto, enquanto o nosso não teve nada. Não esperávamos necessariamente algo grande, mas, por se tratar de uma ocasião tão especial, seria muito bacana que esse tipo de cuidado fosse oferecido de forma mais padronizada aos casais que informam a ocasião na reserva. Sobre o atendimento nos bares, não queremos generalizar, pois tivemos um barman que foi extremamente atencioso, simpático e nos atendeu muito bem. Porém, de maneira geral, tivemos a impressão de que o atendimento era mais rápido, frequente e cordial quando oferecíamos gorjeta. Isso acabou deixando uma impressão um pouco desagradável, pois acreditamos que todos os hóspedes deveriam receber um atendimento igualmente atencioso, independentemente da gorjeta. Outro ponto foi a variedade de cervejas. Havia apenas a cerveja Presidente disponível, e sentimos falta de outras opções para escolher. A organização para pegar as boias da piscina com correnteza também precisa melhorar bastante. Chegamos antes da abertura da piscina, colocamos nosso nome e aguardamos para pegar a boia quando estivesse liberado. Porém, algumas pessoas passaram na frente sem respeitar a ordem e sem sequer terem colocado o nome. Além disso, algumas pessoas pegavam as boias, colocavam debaixo do braço e ficavam no bar sem utilizá-las,
